Nesting Cartons

You can help your toddler develop eye-hand coordination by providing activities that involve stacking and picking up. You can make simple nesting toys for your toddler from things around the kitchen such as plastic bowls, measuring cups and plastic containers. Another fun nesting toy for your toddler is nesting milk cartons.

Materials needed:

  • Several milk cartons of different sizes (half gallon, quart, pint and half-pint)
  • Con-Tact paper
  • Scissors

Rinse and dry the cartons. Cut off the top portion of the carton so that the bottom is cube shaped. Cover the outside with Con-Tact paper. Choose bright colors. Each carton could be a different color. Make a set for a baby gift.
