Draw-a-Toddler

Materials needed:

  • Butcher paper or newsprint as long as the child
  • Water base markers
  • White glue
  • Scissors
  • Scraps of yarn and fabric
  • Scraps of paper or other recycled stuff

Place the paper on the floor, and have your child lie down so you can draw around him with a marker. Draw eyes and mouth and other body parts as well as simple items of clothing. Invite your child to help you draw and dress the toddler with markers and scraps of paper and cloth. Cut yarn for hair. Tear pieces of paper for eyes. When the glue dries, hang the life-size drawing on the wall for all to admire.
