Nevadas Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Education Plan - Coordinated by the Nevada Division of Welfare
Nevada’s Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Education (SNAP-ED) Plan includes education and needs assessment activities designed to help food stamp recipients and those eligible for food stamps in Nevada make healthy food choices within their limited budgets.
The Plan includes a variety of nutrition education programs that benefit children and adults. Needs assessment efforts are designed to improve knowledge and understanding of the nutrition education needs of Nevada’s Food Stamp Program participants and those eligible for food stamps.
