On Saturday, September 10, University of Nevada Cooperative Extension along with the Las Vegas-Clark County Library District and the Clark County School District Family and Community Engagement Services (FACES) will host a Kickoff to Kindergarten school readiness fair for children ages 3-5 and their families.

This free event, held from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., will introduce parents and children to the Nevada Pre-K Standards through fun, hands-on activities, including visual arts, science, music and movement, language and early literacy, health and safety, mathematics, physical development and social emotional development.

School readiness supplies will be offered to the first 100 families to this free and open to the public event held at the Las Vegas Library located at 833 Las Vegas Blvd. No., Las Vegas, Nev.
