South Valley Rose Society April meeting set
University of Nevada Cooperative Extension and the South Valley Rose Society are collaborating and offering educational meetings throughout the winter. Free and open to the public, April 23 meeting topic is How Much Water is Enough?.
M.L. Robinson, water and environmental horticulture specialist, and Associate Professor at Cooperative Extension will discuss watering during periods of drought and how do we know when plants/roses have enough water? What signs do we look for? What irrigation methods provide the most water? How does our desert soil respond to different irrigation methods?
