So. Valley Rose Society October meeting

University of Nevada Cooperative Extension and the South Valley Rose Society are collaborating and offering an educational meeting in October.

Free and open to the public, the October 23 meeting topic is Which is Better: Compost or soluble commercial fertilizers? Bob Morris, Faculty Emeritus from University of Nevada will discuss the confusion about what compost can and cannot do. Is it a soil amendment, a fertilizer, a miracle product? How is it made and with what ingredients? What is the role of soluble commercial fertilizers products in growing roses? Can I use both?
