Tomatoes gardening class offered by Master Gardener

Posted 12/26/2013

University of Nevada Cooperative Extension Master Gardener Helen Brown will be presenting a gardening class on January 18 at the Clark County Center for Sustainable Urban Food Production 4600 Horse Road, NLV. “All About Tomatoes” is the topic for the class beginning at 9 a.m. A $5 donation is requested for the class.

Brown, a Master Gardener since 1997, is a local expert on growing vegetables—especially tomatoes and vine crops. Brown will cover growing, starting, when to plant, what to do after blooms, tomato worm problems, wind damage, and how to get started for the best tomato results.
