Meet and Greet is planned for Oct. 7
The community is invited to an open house on Thursday, Oct. 7 as University of Nevada Cooperative Extension introduces the newly appointed Extension Educator for southern Clark County, Debra "Debbie" Marcusson. Marcusson began her tenure on July 1.
The event will take place from 3:30 — 6 p.m. at the Cooperative Extension office in Laughlin located at 55 Civic Way. You will have the opportunity to also meet Cooperative Extension’s Dean & Director, Karen Hinton, and Southern Area Director Jerry Buk. After the short agenda, please stay and enjoy some light refreshments.
Marcusson has extensive knowledge of the community, as well as experience in working with local government, state and educational agencies and local businesses. Marcusson’s responsibilities will include a community needs assessment and development of educational programs for residents in Cal-Nev-Ari, Laughlin and Searchlight.
University of Nevada Cooperative Extension is an outreach arm of the University that extends unbiased, research-based knowledge from the University—and other land-grant universities—to local communities.
