Grant Writing class scheduled for CCSD
University of Nevada Cooperative Extension will offer a Nuts and Bolts of Grant Writing class on Tuesday, August 17 for any Clark County School District (CCSD) employee (teacher or staff). The one-day class session will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Lifelong Learning Center located at 8050 Paradise Road, Las Vegas, (I-215 and Windmill Lane).
During the day, school district employees will learn how to: develop a community needs assessment, set goals, write outcome objectives, create a working budget, develop a budget and a budget narrative and much more. The class instructor is Pamela Kahn-Van Pelt, grant and resource specialist for Cooperative Extension.

Other available class dates are May 27, June 3, July 22, September 8, October 7 and November 18. The class fee will be $25.
