Growing vegetables in small spaces

Posted 3/3/2009

Join Dr. Angela O’Callaghan, University of Nevada Cooperative Extension’s Social Horticulturist, on Saturday, March 28, and learn how to grow vegetables in small spaces. This Introduction to Gardening workshop, from 9 a.m. to Noon, will be held at Cooperative Extension’s Lifelong Learning Center at 8050 Paradise Road (I-215 & Windmill Lane).

The workshop will concentrate on the basics of getting vegetables and herbs to survive in small spaces- particularly in pots and on patios-despite our challenging climate.

There is a $5 materials fee for the class--cash or check only (checks made payable to the Board of Regents). To register, call the Master Gardener help line at 702-257-5555 or email .
