Seniors CAN program offered in community centers

LAS VEGAS- Seniors CAN is an educational program for independent older adults. The 16-week program is designed to enhance mental acuity, sense of control and overall wellness with the ultimate objective of improving the quality of life. Beginning January 26, 2009, Seniors CAN will be offered at the East Las Vegas Community/Senior Center located at 250 North Eastern Avenue, Las Vegas, NV 89101. Join in on all the activities on Mondays from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. The session runs through April 27.

Beginning January 20, Seniors CAN will also be offered at the Centennial Hills Active Adult Center located at 6601 North Buffalo Dr., Las Vegas, 89131. Each Tuesday from 10:30 a.m. to Noon, Seniors CAN staff will discuss a different topic specifically geared towards independent older adults. This session will end on April 28.
