Cooperative Extension hosts Capital City Farm Days for students
About 3,000 elementary school students and preschoolers will get a chance to learn more about where their food and clothing comes from when they visit Capital City Farm Days, 9 a.m. - 2 p.m., April 19 & 20 at Carson City's Fairgrounds. Students from several northern Nevada counties will be treated to numerous presentations and hands-on displays featuring dairy cows, horses, pigs, sheep, composting and much more. The annual event is sponsored by University of Nevada Cooperative Extension.
