University of Nevada Cooperative Extension presents free celebrations and workshops

Does your family need a little kick-start to help you eat smarter and become more active? Learn fun ways to improve your family's eating habits and activities at some free learning celebrations, April 17 - May 30 in Carson City and Virginia City, presented by University of Nevada Cooperative Extension. Participants will learn exciting new ideas for preparing meals and shopping for food and much, much more. There will be food, activities and music, and the whole family is welcome.

The presentations will be offered at the following locations:

  • Carson City at Mark Twain Elementary School, 2111 Carriage Crest Drive, 7 - 8 p.m., every Tuesday, April 17 - May 29
  • Virginia City at Hugh Gallagher Elementary School, 191 South "D" St., 4:30 - 5:30 p.m., every Wednesday, April 18 - May 30.
