Lincoln County

Welcome to Lincoln County

University of Nevada Cooperative Extension's Lincoln County office serves Caliente, Pioche, Alamo and Panaca, Nevada. Lincoln County is larger than the 10 smallest states in the union and is located along the Nevada-Utah border in southern Nevada.

We live in a very diverse area, from the Mojave Desert in the south to Mt. Wilson at an elevation of 11,000 feet in the east. The center of the county is near Caliente, where the Cooperative Extension office is located. We are about 150 miles northeast of Las Vegas, 120 miles south of Ely, 200 miles east of Tonopah, and 100 west of Cedar City, Utah.
