Valentine Bush, Chocolate Flower and Sugar Bush are some of the aptly named landscape plants featured at the Saturday, Feb. 14 tour of the University of Nevada Cooperative Extension Demonstration Gardens. Join the Master Gardeners at 10 a.m. for a tour of blooming desert plants which are suitable for your “Valentine’s Bouquet.” The tour is free and open to the public.

Located at 8050 Paradise Road, Las Vegas, Nev., the Demonstration Gardens feature over 800 labeled landscape plants, including the Master Gardener Herb and Rose Gardens, cactus garden and palm garden. The gardens are open to the public Monday - Friday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Weekly tours are offered every Friday at 10 a.m.

Email or call the Master Gardener Help Line at 702-257-5555 to chat with a Master Gardener about your gardening questions. Visit/like the Master Gardener Facebook page for upcoming classes and pest alerts.
