Grant Writing classes scheduled for April-July 2011
With budgets being cut and money tighter, University of Nevada Cooperative Extension offers the Nuts and Bolts of Grant Writing. The one-day class session is held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Lifelong Learning Center located at 8050 Paradise Road, Las Vegas, (I-215 and Windmill Lane). Future class dates are: April 5, May 12 and 25, June 9 and 28, and July 27.
During the day, non-profit and government organization participants will learn how to: develop a community needs assessment, set goals, write outcome objectives, create a working budget, develop a budget and a budget narrative and much more. The class instructor is Pamela Kahn-Van Pelt, grant and resource specialist for Cooperative Extension.
