Leaf-footed BugAdult leaf-footed bugs have been found on pomegranates and tomatoes at the UNCE Las Vegas Demonstration Gardens. They feed by piercing the fruit with their proboscis and sucking the juices.  This causes pitting, distortion and discoloration. Puncturing of fruit also allows secondary pathogens to enter and cause rotting. Visit/like the Master Gardener Facebook page for more information!
