Cooperative Extension will host a “How to Create a Successful Produce Business” workshop on June 21 addressing a variety of topics from production and harvesting to marketing and business. The workshop is part of Cooperative Extension’s “Herds and Harvest” Program, a three-year, state-wide program combining educational skill-building workshops and one-on-one mentoring to support Nevada agricultural producers. The program is supported by grant funds received from the Beginning Farmer and Rancher Development Program of the National Institute of Food and Agriculture, U.S. Department of Agriculture.
