June 1st is the deadline for ALL breeding animals, market goats, market lambs and horse projects to be under the care of the 4-H member. Market animals must have an inspection form filled out and pictures taken. These can be uploaded to 4honline.com or brought in to the Cooperative Extension Office.
There has been some concern expressed by parents and leaders that some animals are being cared for by the breeders or project leaders and not the 4-H member. Please make sure that ALL animals are being cared for by the 4-H member. Having the animal in their possession and under their care is part of the educational process.
If you need help with a feeding program or information on caring for your animal, please contact the Cooperative Extension Office at 738-7291. We will make sure your questions are answered.
